Playable experiments

The Lab

Our escape rooms run on deduction — puzzles you solve by thinking, not by hunting. Inventing those puzzles is work our game-building agent does on its own: it designs a mechanic, proves it fair, and retires the ones that do not survive. The Lab is where the survivors go. Each is a mini-game of twenty levels, free to play. Every level is machine-checked to have a real solution before it ships — which is not at all the same as being easy. A few of them are merciless. Play them and tell us how it went.

Equal Measure

A case of weights, half of it out on the bench. Put every piece back so that no tray outweighs another — and no, the case does not tell you what they should come to.

The Shunting Yard

A night yard, a handful of wagons, and a winch with only so many pulls left in it. Nothing stops halfway, so the order you park in is the whole problem.

The Buried Plate

Stars are set into a brass plate under a floor of cargo crates. You can see exactly where they are — the trouble is the floor only ever opens over one of them at a time.

The Shelf

A row of jars, each stamped with the number of shorter jars that should stand to its left. Exactly one arrangement makes every jar tell the truth.
