The Exchange
Two rooms, two devices, one door — and neither of you can open it alone.
Only one of you pays. The other player plays for free.
There’s a storm over the town. One of you is the night operator, on until six. The other is the relief engineer, who came in at eleven to work in the apparatus room, and the door swung shut. At 11:40 lightning hit the line out on the city road, and every line in the building went dead.
THE TOWN TELEPHONE EXCHANGE ◇ 1962 ◇ 11:40 PM
STATUS ◇ LIGHTNING ON THE LINE · DOOR FAILED SHUT

The door
One of you is in the switch room. The other is locked in the apparatus room behind it. That door has an electric lock, and when the lightning hit it locked shut. Nobody else is coming before morning, and it won’t open until the exchange is back up on both sides.
The one rule
One line in the building still works, and it runs between your two rooms. Get the other player on the phone and keep talking. Each of you can see what the other one needs, and neither of you gets out alone.
How it works
Tap Start. We create your side of the game.
You get a link to send them. They open it on their own device — no account needed.
Get on a call, or sit together: there is no chat in the game. Talk your way out — the thing that makes no sense in your room makes sense in theirs.
